Schaeffler is inviting members of its online workshop resource portal ‘REPXPERT’ to register for a free VIP Experience at Automechanika Birmingham from June 6th to 8th which will include a VIP entry ticket, hospitality on the company’s stand, plus a free goody-bag.

The company expects the REPXPERT VIP Experience to prove popular and is urging account holders to log-in and register as soon as possible to guarantee their ticket. If you are not yet a REPXPERT member, now is the perfect time to register at www.repxpert.co.uk

Malcolm Short, Technical Services Manager for Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket said, “This is the second year we will be exhibiting at Automechanika and once again we have worked hard on putting together a wide range of attractions that highlight our leading position at the heart of the automotive aftermarket and also emphasises our original equipment pedigree.”

The global technology giant will be displaying a vast array of innovative technology on stand 19A50 at the show which is being held at the NEC Birmingham.

The renowned Schaeffler REPXPERT technical team will be giving practical hands-on fitting advice and hints and tips on the OE LuK clutch, INA tensioner and FAG wheel bearing brands.  The theme this year is ‘Mobility for Tomorrow’ which showcases innovative Schaeffler OE technology including E-Wheel drive. This fully-electric system includes motors integrated into the wheel hub to create space saving, comfort and economy benefits.

Reinforcing the theme of future mobility, Schaeffler will also be showing and explaining its E-ARC (Electromechanical Active Roll) stabiliser which helps to balance cars on roads and around corners. The system works where the car remains flat and balanced when it would normally dip to one side and the innovative design can be found in many cars produced by manufacturers including; BMW, Porsche, Land Rover and Audi.

The third main exhibit on the stand will focus on Thermal Management. Schaeffler's thermal management module uses sensor-controlled rotary slide valves to precisely regulate the temperature balance in the vehicle's drive train and allows the ideal temperature window for the engine and the transmission to be reached rapidly. This has an effect on both the energy efficiency and the life of the drive train's components.

As well as these aspects, Schaeffler will have its REPXPERT team on-hand to answer any queries that may arise.
