OE component and system manufacturer, Schaeffler, has claimed the coveted ‘Car Supplier of the Year’ title in the IAAF ‘Pride of the Aftermarket’ awards at the ‘Aftermarket for the Future’ virtual conference.

Voting opened on Friday 26th November and closed prior to the start of the conference held on 2nd December during which time members of the federation and professionals across the automotive industry had their say on the various companies nominated for each awards category.

The competition among suppliers is always fierce, but it was clear that in addition to Schaeffler’s highly respected LuK, INA and FAG product brand offering, the company’s ongoing customer support, interactive technical training activities and industry leadership, particularly as the aftermarket emerged from the various Coronavirus lockdowns also counted in its favour.

Commenting on the award, Schaeffler’s Country Manager for UK and Ireland, Mark Dolloway, said, “On behalf of the entire Schaeffler team, I am extremely honoured to receive such an important industry award, which I see as recognition for the support that we provide to all levels of the UK and Irish Automotive Aftermarket. The team always works extremely hard to ensure that workshops and technicians are provided with the highest quality products, services and training, so I am proud that Schaeffler has been recognised for this by our peers and customers alike - especially during such a turbulent year”.

Information on Schaeffler products, fitting instructions, labour times and much more can be found on the REPXPERT workshop portal – www.repxpert.co.uk – the REPXPERT app, or by calling the Schaeffler REPXPERT hotline on 0872 737 0037.
