Schaeffler expands FAG bearing programme

Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket has further expanded it range FAG wheel bearings and wheel bearing kits.  Last year the company released 37 new part numbers and many more have already been added in 2014.


Latest additions include parts for some major new models, including a wheel bearing kit for the Audi A3 Sportback (8VA), 2.0 TDI 03/2013 and Skoda Octavia (5E5) 2.0TDI, 11/2012-. Parts have also been added for the popular Volvo V40 T3 GTDI, 03/2012- application, as well as a rear wheel bearing kit (drum brakes only) available for vehicles including the Honda Civic VII Hatchback (EU, EP, EV) 1.6 i 02/2001-09/2005.

In addition, FAG brake discs with integrated wheel bearings have been released for vehicles including many popular French models from Renault, Peugeot and Citroen.

Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket Technical Services Manager Malcolm Short said, “The past 12 months have seen us introduce new FAG part numbers for newer models which are now being regularly worked on in independent garages. The level of expansion means that we can service the requirements of our customers even more comprehensively and we will continue to grow the range throughout 2014 to ensure FAG has an even stronger presence in the market-place.”
