Garages may often spend thousands of Euro on equipment but can sometimes let themselves down when it comes to workshop essentials such as high quality lighting. Good light makes working on a vehicle so much easier, yet many technicians continue to struggle with small hand held lamps.

One company looking to transform the concept of working light in garages is Ring Automotive, with its  Under Bonnet Lamp proving very popular since it joined the Ring Lighting range. We can use it all day from 9 in the morning until 6 in the evening and it still has power left. It is also quick and easy to recharge.”

Ravis was also impressed with the flexibility of the unit. He says, “You can adjust the individual LED’s in the same way you can move a reading light on an airplane. This means you can get direct light where you need it in different parts of the engine bay and this can save a great deal of time on moving and light adjustment. We also found the light was great for use under a vehicle particularly when attached to a flat trolley.”

Ravis says he would definitely recommend the Ring under bonnet lamp to any technician and it is now an essential piece of equipment for him and his team.
