Kerridge Commercial Systems (KCS), a global ERP and business management software provider for the Distributive Trades, has reached an agreement to acquire Compilator (Sweden, Finland and UK).

The acquisition of Compilator is a strategic investment for KCS, supporting its strategy of growth into new regions and further expanding its offering to the automotive industry. Specifically, the combined KCS entity will be a leading provider of business management solutions to tyre retailers and wholesalers in Scandinavia, the UK, Ireland, and the North American markets serving over 13,000 locations in the tyre and auto service sector.

KCS has some 35,000 customers worldwide, focusing on the needs of particular sectors such as Construction, Automotive, Industrial, Electrical, Food, Equipment rental and other verticals of the distributive trades.

Ian Bendelow, KCS Chief Executive, commented, “This is a key strategic acquisition and entry point into the Nordic market for KCS. The Compilator team will become an integral part of KCS Group, and together, we believe we can grow significantly in this key strategic market. As a part of KCS, the Compilator team will have access to even more resources and solutions. I’m excited to see the opportunities accelerate as we offer customers the innovation they need in a changing world.”

Compilator is a long-established software provider servicing the needs of the tyre and distribution sectors in 2,000 locations throughout the Nordics, UK and Ireland.
