Laser Tools has introduced a new Extension Ratchet designed to remove fasteners in inaccessible areas.

Laser say that a fastener can often be buried deep in the engine bay, such as a pulley securing nut, a water pump mounting bolt or an A/C compressor adjustor. Often a technician can reach with a spanner but there is no room for a ratchet handle to remove the fastener quickly.

This new extension ratchet (part number 7655) is 340mm long and allows the user to  remotely ratchet off the fastener, using either a 3/8" or 1/4" drive ratchet handle. Its length and super-slim profile means it can work in the smallest spaces and it has a smooth and durable chain that transmits the drive from the ratchet handle straight down to the fastener. Each drive also has an easily removable adaptor to take a socket or bit driver.

The 7655 ratchet extension is now available from Laser stockist.
