Schaeffler will be amongst the exhibitors at MECHANEX Sandown Park in November, where its focus will be on INA products, technology, tools and training.

A team of its enthusiastic REPXPERTs will be manning the stand during the two-day event, held between Tuesday 6th and Wednesday 7th November (10am-4pm), where they will share their knowledge of the crucial engine systems; timing drives (belt and chain), front end auxiliary drives (FEAD) cooling and valve trains, with the visiting technicians.

They will also be demonstrating, and giving away, a number of INA stud fitting tools that will prove to be an essential accessory for technicians when replacing the timing belt tensioner mounting stud on VAG 1.9/2.0 TDi applications. For those that cannot attend MECHANEX Sandown Park, REPXPERT members can find a useful technical sheet and instructions on how to get hold of a free tool kit on the REPXPERT website: www.repxpert.co.uk

Marketing Communications Manager, Jeff Earl, said; “Our belt system expert, Tim Adams, designed this tool after noticing that workshops were having difficulty with stud fitting and alignment on these very popular VAG engines. Using this simple device in conjunction with the correct stud tightening tools will help eliminate installation errors that can lead to premature belt failure, saving workshops and their customers a great deal of time, effort and money."
