Induction Innovations, Inc. Have announced the launch of Venom the third generation of its high popular Mini-Ductor handheld induction heater. The 230V version will previewed for advanced orders at Automechanika Birmingham in June and will be released to the aftermarket later in 2016.

Likes its predecessor, the Mini-Ductor II, Venom generates Invisible Heat to release ferrous and some non-ferrous metals from corrosion and thread lock compounds without the dangers of open flames. It does this up to 90% faster, with ¾” nuts turned red hot in less than 15 seconds.

The new Venom induction heater also has 7 new features;
  • Angled design with trigger makes hard to reach areas more accessible
  • A new Coil Twist Lock means coils now lock down with one simple turn
  • A new LED usage indicator.
  • A fault override delay with lockout.
  • A new fan operation aids cooling.
  • The new user controlled LED switch indicates when the internal power supply is operating.
  • The Venom has a two year parts and labour warranty
The Mini-Ductor Venom comes as a complete kit with coils and case and has a multitude of uses including; removal and release of ABS sensors, Brake bleeder nuts, Corroded exhaust, Fuel tank straps, Inline connectors, Manifold bolts, O2 sensors, Seat belt bolts, Steering/suspension components, u-bolts AND Zirk fittings.

The Venom will be previewed at the Automechanika Show at the NEC 7-9th June on the Sykes Pickavant stand, 9H58. Induction Innovations’ Director of Business Development, Johanna Smith, will be on hand to demonstrate the tool and answer any questions visitors may have.
