Blue Print continues to expand its range of cabin filters and now supplies almost 400 different filters, for a variety of makes and models including Toyota, Nissan and Jaguar. The cabin filter has a very important role to play in protecting the comfort and health of vehicle occupants and now very much has all year round demand.

Blue print says its cabin filters offer many technical benefits, with filter material matching the standard of the original equipment manufacturer. Each filter also has a foam seal to ensure the perfect tightness, providing better sealing than cheaper designs which use lateral wings. The filters are delivered with a stable lateral strip or with a plastic frame. This ensures 100% fit and stability, and prevents deformation, while the material used is moisture-resistant to avoid water ingress.

Depending on application, filters may contain polyphenols to prevent the growth of bacteria and other micro-organisms and help prevents allergens such as birch pollen, fungal spores and formaldehyde from entering the passenger compartment. In-line with OE specification, activated carbon filters attract and trap the smallest of particles such as NOx and hydrogen sulphide.

Blue Print says that timely replacement of the filter will prevent condensation or dirt on the windscreen, an important safety point, while regular filter replacement can also extend the lifetime of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

Blue Print says its filtration programme offers a cost-effective alternative, without compromising on quality and features over 22,000 applications. Details of the range can be found in the Blue Print LIVE! online catalogue at www.blue-print.com/blueprintlive.
