Martin Brady who is a Motorsport Ireland licence holder clinched second overall in the 2016 Rally America Championship on the Lake Superior Performance Rally in Michigan, USA.


Brady successfully guided Irish ex pat Seamus Burke to another strong finish on the event adding to a 2nd overall in the STPR Rally in Pennsylvania and an overall win on the New England Forest Rally in Maine earlier in the year. The results saw Brady claim second overall in the Rally America Series co-driver standings while both Burke and Brady secured the National Open Light section of the series in their Mitsubishi Evolution 9.

Brady is one of a number of Irish navigators who regularly compete stateside however Brady can count himself as one of the most successful having taken a number of notable results since his first North American event in 2006. In 2011 he finished 2nd in the Canadian Rally Championship and in 2013 he won Californian Rally Championship, the Rally America South Western Regional Championship and the NASA National Championship.
