Monbatt signed an agreement to become the exclusive distributor of Mannol in Ireland with Jev Lysko CEO of Mannol UK, in July 2022. The Monaghan based distributor, secured the agreement as Mannol looked for a strong partner to grow its Irish business. After a period of consolidation in the early months, the partnership has since gone from strength to strength, producing record sales figures this year.  

One of the advantages of the Mannol range is its comprehensive coverage and this growth has come across all sectors including passenger vehicle, commercial vehicle and Agri industries nationwide. Monbatt says the brand has been extremely well received and is held in high regard against competitor brands in the market place. This has been assisted by the Monbatt’s sales team which has excelled in both brand promotion and their individual performance, with the wide and diverse  range of products from the Mannol portfolio. 

As well as product quality, Mannol, carefully markets the brand in terms of packaging and product promotion. A key component of this is in the area of manufacturer approvals. For example, Mannol excels when it to VW approvals on the MN7715 5W/30 504/507 spec oil, and is one of the market leaders in this category. The brand is also very competitive with its range of C2, C3 and C4 products, which has been noted as a growing sector with, lubricants suitable for the modern-day vehicles.
