Aftermarket brake brand, Mintex, has expanded its range of coated discs as part of an ongoing programme that will eventually see coated discs fully replace their uncoated counterparts.
Covering more than 200 references, Mintex will continue to add to its portfolio to ensure there is a wide range of coated discs in stock for all customers. There will be a gradual discontinuation of the uncoated discs as new coated disc part references become available.
Mintex is part of TMD Friction a global leader in OE brake technology, something that ensures Mintex coated discs are precision engineered to match the vehicle’s original specification.
Nick Hayes, UK sales manager at TMD Friction, said, “Following customer feedback and to maintain our position as a leading brake brand within the marketplace, we have decided to extend our portfolio of coated discs, which will replace our uncoated range. While coated discs are purely used for aesthetic reasons, more and more consumers are requesting coated discs to accompany their alloy wheels for the ultimate visual appeal. This range expansion gives factors and garages the opportunity to provide coated discs at uncoated prices.”
