Pollen at this time of year does not just affect driving comfort, it can also have serious safety implications. 1. Check the pollen forecast and try to avoid journeys at times of day when pollen is at its peak.

3. Put jackets and other unworn cloths items in the boot to reduce pollen circulation.
4. Keep the windows closed and use the air circulation function of the air conditioner to stay cool.
5. Wear a pair of sunglasses with a good fit. Teary and itchy eyes not only impair vision but they are also more sensitive to light. Glasses reduce the contact of the mucous membrane with pollen and reduce distraction behind the wheel.
6. Have your air conditioning system serviced regularly.
7. Rely on high-quality filters.
