With the Irish car parc going through some major changes at present J&S in association with additive supplier, JLM, is reacting to these changes and creating new opportunities for the aftermarket. A move to petrol and petrol hybrid will be a key trend as the transition to pure electric remains low key. Also with the effects of the pandemic, the car parc is getting older with motorists repairing instead of replacing.

With the government also promoting a greener motoring message, it is reassuring to know that JLM products are allowing garages to increase engine power and reduce fuel costs at the same time on vehicles being serviced and repaired. This year has been very challenging, but the JLM family have been working hard behind the scenes as it goes into its 10th year of developing new and innovative products for petrol and hybrid engines.

JLM is ready to help Irish garages with a range of direct injection issues, in the form of new products that follow in the same vain as their go-to DPF and Turbo solutions. Six new products will be added in 2021, joining a range of 25 products featuring DPF and diesel problem solvers, which are used by the network of DPF Doctors nationwide, as well as being available from local part suppliers.

Also in the range are petrol and diesel emission reduction solutions that provide a full cleanse of whole combustion cycle and not just the catalytic convertor as well as a popular GDi Injector Cleaner which has the power to reach areas where traditional additives cannot.
