Is this the ultimate Boyz Toy? A giant Scalextric track designed by F1 commentator Martin Brundle is going up for auction at the end of the month with the proceeds going to charity.

The former Grand Prix winner was challenged to design a dream circuit for slot-car racing which, incorporated elements of famous F1 circuits. The 148 ft track features the Senna S of Brazil, Silverstone's Copse corner, Casino Square from Monaco, The Wall of Champions from Canada and the Ascari Chicane from Monza.

Hornby Hobbies, Scalextric's parent company, who built the track, are now putting it up for auction in aid of the BBC Children in Need charity. It will be sold by Classic Car Auctions during the upcoming CarFest South Classic Car Auction, in Laverstoke Park Farm in Hampshire on August 28th and 29th.
