Denso has added 16 new part numbers to its starters and alternators range and also introduced a brand new catalogue covering this important product sector.
The new 2013/14 Starters & Alternators Catalogue includes five new Starter part references and 123 new applications including Mercedes C Class, E class, SLK, Viano, Vito and Sprinter. The catalogue also includes details of eleven new Alternator part numbers which cover 265 applications including many top European marques. The new applications cover both new and existing part numbers in the extensive OE quality aftermarket programme.
Martin Pring, Manager of DENSO Aftermarket Sales comments, “We have been expanding our range continually in recent years, including new part numbers for modern, fuel efficient models.” He adds, “This new catalogue not only gives our customers the latest details on new part numbers and applications, but also includes additional and updated images for easy part identification.”
DENSO’s expanded Starters and Alternators range includes the Advanced Engagement (AE) Starter, Tandem Solenoid (TS) Starter, Permanently Engaged (PE) Starter as well as the Stop-Start Starter - Tandem Solenoid (TS) - introduced for Volkswagen Bluemotion models in 2012. The Alternator range includes the Alternator launched for BMW (DAN1040) in April 2012 – suitable for BMW 1 & 3 series: E81, E82, E90, E91, E92, E93.
In total the DENSO Starters and Alternators programme now includes 192 Alternator part references, covering 2,546 applications and 56 Starter part references, covering 1,128 applications. Unlike many other brands, each part is new-in-box rather than remanufactured, ensuring a high quality product made from genuine parts, at a competitive price. There is also no core surcharge and administration is greatly reduced.
