Diversified technology company 3M has launched Hookit Flexible Abrasive Sheets. The new abrasives provide an excellent cut and finish performance and offer a more flexible, comfortable and simpler alternative to many conventional sanding products.

Hookit Flexible Abrasive Sheets are coloured green, red and blue, allowing the user to easily identify and utilise the correct sheet depending on the job required. Coarser green sheets are used for primer sanding, sheets for blending are coloured red and the finer grade blue sheets are ideal for paint rectification and finishing.

Gavin Phipps, Technical Service Supervisor of the Automotive Aftermarket Division of 3M explains, “Each box comes with a sanding pad which the abrasive sheets can be wrapped around, allowing for better access to tighter gaps and improved flexibility. Hookit Flexible Abrasive Sheets are compatible for use with any Hookit accessory, and each box is well presented in stackable cardboard trays, which has significantly improved the organisation of the sheets.”

Hookit Flexible Abrasive Sheets have six different grades, each specified for a particular function and ideal for sanding panel edges and hard-to-reach areas such as bumpers and door shuts thanks to their versatility and flexibility.
