Beta Tools has announced that it is to support a rising star in the motor cycle racing world based close to their UK HQ in Shropshire. The company will sponsor 12 year old Ross Turner from RedRat Racing in the HEL Performance British Motostar Championship Standard Moto 3 class series.

Unlike most 12 year olds, Ross spends his weekends during the racing season hurtling round a track on his motorbike.  He learned to ride a motorcycle at the age of 2 and has been competing in various race series all over Europe since the age of 6 including a full season last year in Spain.  For 2017 Ross has joined the HEL Performance British Motostar Championship Standard Moto 3 class which is one of the support series for the MCE British Superbike Championship.  Their races take place on the same tracks and on the same weekends as the BSB itself and at 12 years old, Ross will be one of the youngest competitors in his class.

Beta Tools  have a long and proud history with motorsport and have worked with all the major teams in MotoGP, World Superbike, F1 and many others.  Head of Sales for Beta Tools Martin Bryers says “We are delighted to be working with Ross and his team this year.  For many years they have used Beta products in their workshop and it was a natural progression for us to be more involved.” He also added “We decided to work with Ross for 2017, not only because he is he young and enthusiastic but he is also a local lad for us”.
