Somora Motor Parts has announced that it has been appointed as an official Irish distributor for the GSP Automotive Group, a leader in the field of driveshafts, CV joints, and wheel bearings.

Tracing its history back over 40 years, the company specialises in the production of high-quality driveline and suspension components and has earned a reputation for precision engineering, reliability, and innovative products.

As it has continuously grown, GSP has always invested heavily in R&D so as to be ahead of the market trends and enable itself to deliver products compatible with a huge array of vehicle makes and models. Today as a highly respected partner in the aftermarket, GSP has production facilities around the world and exports to more than 120 countries.

The core technological expertise of GSP is in two main areas:

Transmission Shafts and CV Joints
Vital for smooth power transmission from the gearbox to wheels, GSP manufactures these products with expert know-how to ensure quality, durability, performance and compatibility. The range covers both passenger vehicles and commercial applications, across the broadest spectra of automotive requirements.

Wheel Bearings and Hubs
With recognised high-quality engineering, wheel bearings and hubs from GSP provide problem-free operation under severe conditions. Advanced materials combined with the latest production techniques guarantee longevity in performance and safety for motorists.

All GSP products must withstand strict quality control processes right through exhaustive testing for durability, safety, and precision. The company also maintains ISO/TS 16949 for conformance to international automotive standards.

Quality is further ensured through precision robotic manufacturing systems as well as state-of-the-art testing equipment to achieve consistency within its product lines. These elements have facilitated the building of trust in the company from both aftermarket distributors and OE manufacturers. This is achieved while minimising the ecological impact of its operations by welcoming environmentally friendly manufacturing processes.

GSP is continuously updating its catalogue to keep up with newer models of vehicles so that it stays relevant to current automotive needs. This means that workshops have at their disposal a broad spectrum of reliable, price-effective spare parts, which either match or surpass the OE quality standards all covered in one comprehensive product catalogue.

The GSP components range is now distributed in Ireland from Somora and will be available from motor factor stockists.
