Ring Automotive is highlighting its battery support units and the fact that these pieces of equipment are not just for battery charging.

While still called SmartCharge Pro, Ring is actively promoting its professional range of SmartChargers by their other main function of battery support units. They are designed to deliver more functionality, more reliability and more value for the modern workshop, by not just charging, but also optimising battery performance with smart charging technology, while also functioning as battery support units, delivering a constant 13.6V output to ensure uninterrupted diagnostics and data uploads.

Available in 100A, 50A, 30A, and now the latest 20A model, each SmartCharge Pro is a 3-in-1 powerhouse, offering:

The new 20A SmartCharge Pro goes even further, adding an 80A jump-starting function -making it a true 4-in-1 solution. This makes it perfect for busy technicians who need versatility, reliability and efficiency in one compact unit.

Marketing Director, Henry Bisson, commented: “While our previously named battery care range had multiple functions to support technicians, we felt this rebrand to battery support units further explains that these units are multi-functional, meaning the need for fewer tools  and therefore, saving money. Our battery support unit range continues to expand rapidly, as we regularly ask our customers for feedback, and one piece given was that they wanted multiple use equipment, so they don’t have to keep switching tools as they work.”

These Ring battery support units are available from Ring stockists.
