Chicago Pneumatic has launched a next generation ¾” impact wrench which is ideal for automotive and heavy vehicle repair applications. The tool specialist says the new CP7769 version is more compact, ergonomic and 7% lighter than its predecessor helping to improve users’ efficiency and comfort as well as allowing easy access to hard-to-reach spaces.

Chicago Pneumatic says it has developed its new tool with user comfort in mind. All controls, including a variable speed trigger and are within easy reach. The operator can change between forward and reverse in addition to adjusting the power with one hand and in any position, which reduces fatigue on operator’s wrist and arm and facilitates the use in tight spaces.

The new ¾” impact wrench provides up to 1440ft-lbs (1950Nm) of maximum torque and is designed with a twin hammer mechanism to provide the operator with a durable and efficient tool, enabling mechanics and vehicle service professionals to increase their uptime and productivity.  The new ¾” impact wrench CP7769 is also available with a 6” anvil CP7769-6 and in a 1” version CP7779.
