TRICO celebrates a weekend in the sun

TRICO enjoyed a bumper weekend of motorsport action in mid June with its sponsored teams celebrating victories in both the GT4 South European Championship and Junior Saloon Car Championship.

On the same weekend as the TRICO supported DragonSpeed LMP1 challenger suffered disappointment in the Le Mans 24 hour race, there was motorsport success for the wiper supplier in the UK and Spain, as Tockwith Motorsports (TMS), celebrated double victory.

Jemma Moore was in imperious form, as she secured a victory and second-place in her two races, as she maintained her title challenge in the Junior Saloon Car Championship. Meanwhile, TRICO and TMS were also racing in Spain, as Marmaduke Hall and Eddy Moore competed in round two of the inaugural championship. In hot conditions, the pair were in great form, as they beat GTC rivals to win race one. Luck wasn’t on their side in race two, but top spot on the podium earlier in the day meant the team headed back to TMS headquarters in high spirits.

Senior Brand and Product Manager with TRICO, Sam Robinson Sam said, “It’s a weekend like this that epitomises why TRICO chose to be involved in motor racing; there’s an unpredictability to it, of course, and there are some inevitable lows, but Jemma, Marmaduke and Eddy showed what tremendous highs motorsport can provide.”
