Ignition specialist NGK Spark Plugs attracted legions of motorsport fans and famous faces to its stand at the recent Autosport International show.

NGK has a long and illustrious pedigree in top flight motorsport, sponsoring some of the most successful Formula One, Rally and other four-wheel teams and competitors. Its technology has also helped to achieve numerous world titles.

The NGK stand at the four-day show at Birmingham’s NEC featured a 600bhp Bentley Continental GT3 raced by Team Parker Racing in The Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup and a racing simulator where visitors competed daily for a radio controlled, scale model of an NGK Ferrari 458 Challenge.

Visitors to the stand included NGK-sponsored two-wheel racer Maria Costello, MBE, and hillclimb star Charlie Martin.

Mark Hallam, Marketing Manager at NGK said, “Our stand attracted a lot of interest from motorsport fans. Autosport International gives us the opportunity to meet enthusiasts who not only follow many of the teams and competitors we support, but whose own vehicles feature our spark plugs, glow plugs and NTK sensors.”
