Welsh driver Steve Wood and his Limerick co-driver Keith Moriarty dominated the Wexford Volkswagen Stages Rally for the second year in succession.

Driving their Subaru Impreza on the popular two-day event,they were winners by 40 seconds from the Fiesta of Ian Barrett and Eoin O'Flaherty.

The Escort of Gary Kiernan and Ryan Moore held third position for most of the two days, finishing just eleven seconds behind the runners up in the highest placed two wheel drive car.
