Vinny Byrne has officially launched its new Midlands outlet, with a very successful open day at the new premises on the Blyry Industrial Estate in Athlone. Customers from all over the region attended the event, which included displays and demonstrations of products and equipment from the Vinny Byrne product portfolio. There was particular interest in spraybooths and vehicle lifts, demonstrating that despite the economic slow down in some sectors, bodyshops and garages in the Midlands region are still prepared to invest in new equipment.

The Athlone operations base will serve customers in Westmeath, Roscommon, Longford, Offaly, Galway and beyond, as well as providing a storage and distribution facility for the rest of Ireland. The 14,000 sq ft premises, includes a complete refinish training facility which features a full sized spraybooth, preparation bay and a lecture room. The outlet also has a state of the art paint laboratory, where paint of any colour can be mixed and matched in a wide variety of finish types. This includes fully compliant automotive refinish paints from Palinal and commercial and industrial finishes from Bernardo Ecenarro.
