The Tenneco truck and cinema were in Galway last week and many local mechanics took the opportunity pay a visit and find out about the latest product development with the Tenneco Walker and Monroe brands.

Based at the Menlo Park Hotel, the truck was converted into a walk-in workshop area where visitors could view product demonstrations and interactive displays. There was also a separate mobile cinema area for viewing product videos.

The Tenneco technical was on hand to provide information on product developments and innovations. There was a particular emphasis on products the Monroe shock absorber range and the outstanding business opportunities it can offer to both garages and motor factors. In particular it was highlighted that that checking and changing shocks is important from both a vehicle performance and safety view point. Faulty shocks often contribute to accidents as when a shock is not performing correctly it reduces the contact between the tyre and the road with a dramatic increase in braking distances.

Many mechanics and factor staff from all over the west of Ireland visited the truck during its stay in Galway and all were impressed by the products and information on display.
