As part of the continued development of its commercial vehicle replacement parts programme under Borg & Beck brand, the First Line Group (FLG) has appointed respected CV specialist Steve Jones as the brand’s CV manager.

Steve has worked in the CV aftermarket for 26 years, beginning in 1989 with TTC, where he gained experience in a number of roles including customer service, marketing and technical sales, before moving to axle, braking and suspension supplier Meritor. Latterly he has been with Brigade Electronics and Freight Products, from where he joined FLG.

Commenting on his appointment, Procurement Director, Lee Hewlett said, “Launching a new product offering into a new sector is a big undertaking and although we have great internal experience and a fantastic brand, it was also very important for us to recruit a capable and knowledgeable specialist to ensure the programme is a compelling offering to the CV market. With Steve, we undoubtedly have the professional to fulfil that role and we welcome him into the First Line family.”

The full Borg & Beck CV programme includes a comprehensive range of Clutch, Steering, Brake Drums and Rotating Electrics components for the Aftermarket.
