ŠKODA Ireland’s dealer network is seeking to recruit 24 apprentice technicians, across 17 dealerships.

This recruitment campaign is the result of continued growth and strong performance from the Czech brand. In a year when overall car sales are down over 4%, ŠKODA Ireland has successfully grown its sales volume by 4.3%. The continued increase of ŠKODA vehicles on Irish roads, coupled with the car company’s strategic objective of becoming a top-five brand in Ireland, has led to increased staff needs.

This is the second recruitment drive that ŠKODA has embarked upon in recent times. In 2016, the car brand successfully launched the ‘Trainee Careers Programme’, which saw 30 places filled in a variety of positions, across the network.
