Michelin has introduced a new range of van tyres, Agilis+, designed to cut operating costs for van and light commercial vehicle users by delivering lower fuel consumption and greater mileage.

The new tyre is calculated to reduce fuel consumption by 270 litres for every 60,000kms travelled and shortens braking distance by more than 17 metres compared with a tyre that meets the minimum performance level defined
in new European tyre labelling regulations.

According to Michelin¹s Sales Manager for Ireland, Tom Dennigan, a key feature contributing to its greater mileage and endurance is its superior robustness.

"The Agilis+ has sidewall anti-scrape shields that protect it from damage when coming in contact with a kerb or pothole combined with eight anti-scrape patches that make it even more resistant to everyday wear and
tear" Mr. Dennigan said.
