SIMI’s new president is Gerry Caffrey, of Gerry Caffrey Motors, Dublin.

Addressing members at the SIMI’s AGM, the new president focused on the black economy and the thousands of businesses operating illegally in the Motor Industry.

During his address Mr. Caffrey explained the need for SIMI members to communicate the quality and high standards that SIMI members provide. “We need to let people know that consumers’ rights will always be protected when they deal with an SIMI member,” Mr. Caffrey stated.
