NEXA AUTOCOLOR coatings has announced that it is launching new branding to give a fresh new look to its full range of premium refinish products. The brand’s innovative AQUABASE Plus waterborne line will be the first to benefit from updated product packaging followed by its globally recognised 2K product line.

The Nexa Autocolor brand pioneered low VOC solutions for the automotive refinish industry, introducing the original Aquabase product more than 20 years ago. Based on its unique heritage, Aquabase Plus line now includes a growing range of integrated tinters, undercoats, clearcoats and ancillaries that work seamlessly together to provide a complete ‘start to finish’ waterborne repair solution.

The new branding initiative is intended to better reflect the premium quality and market leading position of all Nexa Autocolor coatings, while building on the recognition and strong visual identity of this advanced waterborne repair system.

The new global image adopts a refreshed blue ‘plasma’ theme to signify the state-of-the-art technology, performance and colour matching excellence of the Nexa Autocolor brand. All updated livery will feature this vibrant and dynamic image. An additional hue of green on Aquabase Plus waterborne packaging highlights the product line’s environmental friendly credentials, including efficient application processes and substantial material savings.

"We felt that it was time to give a fresh new look to our innovative refinish brand,” said Patricia Phountoucos, EMEA Communications and Branding Manager, automotive refinish. "Painters will now be able to identify their favourite premium brand by this vibrant design, which will be printed on all Nexa Autocolor packaging over the coming months.”
