The automotive suppliers company Valeo, has announced it is to create up to 100 new jobs at its operation in Tuam, Co Galway.

The jobs will be part of an initiative to grow the company’s share in the camera market. The company is looking to develop the next generation of new camera/vision systems and supporting technologies for vehicle parking and maneuvering.

The French firm also wishes to significantly expand its manufacturing operations in Tuam, to meet growing automotive customer demand. The new jobs will be recruited across its manufacturing and RD&I operations.
