Ford Ireland has announced a partnership with Gaelforce Events for 2014 and will be providing a new Ford Kuga to help out at their upcoming Gaelforce West event on 16th August.

The gruelling and notorious Gaelforce West adventure race takes place across Galway and Mayo over a 67km course with running, walking, cycling and kayaking in Connemara, Killary Fjords, Croagh Patrick and Westport.

The Gaelforce team will be using an All-Wheel Drive (AWD) Ford Kuga with a fuel efficient 2.0-litre TDCi Duratorq diesel engine with 140 PS.  The Kuga will be pressed into service during preparations for the adventure race and during the event itself when it will be used to cover the rough terrain of the 67km route.
