Automotive parts supplier, First Brands Group, has become the latest member to join the Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF).

The three members of the First Brands Group, wiper blade manufacturer, TRICO, water and fuel pump manufacturer, Airtex and, recently relaunched into Ireland, spark plug brand, Autolite. These are well known in the aftermarket and for original equipment supply.

Group Brand & Marketing Manager (Europe), Sam Robinson, said, “We’re delighted to become a member of the IAAF, a fantastic body that works tirelessly championing our industry and securing its future for all involved. We have a vast range of products within First Brands Group, therefore there’s a wealth of incredible knowledge we can offer, as many products in the group are OE fitment for vehicle manufacturers, as well as innovative products we’ve introduced into the aftermarket.”

As a new member of the IAAF, First Brands Group will have access to many of the federation’s benefits, including entry to industry networking events and insights into the IAAF’s lobbying activities to protect the automotive aftermarket.

Mark Field, IAAF Chief Executive, said, “It’s great to see more and more automotive businesses seeking out IAAF membership as part of their business development and marketing activity. We’ll continue to support our member businesses to ensure they have a strong voice where it matters.”
