febi, SWAG and Blue Print come under bilstein group umbrella

Just over a year and a half after Ferdinand Bilstein GmbH + Co. KG, completed the purchase of 100% of the shares in ADL, becoming the sole owner of the Blue Print brand, the company have officially launched the bilstein group brand publicly for the first time, at the Automechanika 2012 show in Frankfurt.


The bilstein group is an umbrella for three individual brands; febi, SWAG and Blue Print. Group Managing Director, Karsten Schüßler-Bilstein commented; The formalisation and launch of the bilstein group umbrella brand, represents a significant milestone in our company's history. The brands stand side by side united by their dedication to quality, accuracy, development and innovation, yet clearly focussed on their areas of specialism, in perfect synergy, to provide a complete solution to the independent aftermarket.

Globally, the bilstein group consists of 18 overseas subsidiaries, which supply products and services in more than 140 countries, from a total of 14 logistics centres. When combined the product ranges consist of over 47,000 part numbers, across more than 160 product groups, to fit all makes of vehicle.

All bilstein group's ranges are also supplemented by advanced cataloguing systems, technical information and training, specialist tools and other quality support services.
