Drogheda & District Chamber has announced details of the return of the award winning Drogheda Motor Show.

This year the event has a new date and will showcase the 2012 new car range from local franchise motor dealerships, comprising of 13 marques. It will take place from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th March this year and aims to improve the new car buying experience by using one location to offer greater choice to customers and ease of access to a large range of cars. Over 100 different new vehicle models will be on display.

Following the success of the first show in November 2010, the motor dealers of Drogheda were awarded with the 'Unsung Heroes' Award from the Society of the Irish Motor Industry (SIMI) at the inaugural Irish Motor Industry Awards.

Southgate Centre on the Dublin Road is the new home for the Drogheda Motor Show and admission to the event is free of charge. Drogheda Chamber President, Padraic Kierans, is putting the full support of the Chamber behind this annual event for the town, "The first show was an outstanding success and we know from recently held events in the town that the people of Drogheda and beyond will come out in great numbers to support their own".

Most of the event will be held indoors and everyone is welcome. The local dealerships are delighted to be working with the Southgate Centre this year and the facilities on offer will give visitors a unique experience. 

There will be fantastic finance packages available to customers throughout the weekend of the show. This event is a must for all new car buyers.
