A survey by UK Auto Express Magazine, has shown that some car dealers are now refusing to part-exchange prestige vehicles and SUVs, as their forecourts are already full of slow selling stock that they are finding increasingly difficult to move on.

With car sales at record lows in the UK, some dealers admitted to discouraging trade-ins on certain models, while other said they were knocking thousands off quoted trade-in values. The survey says the least desirable dealer models at present include, the Mercedes R-Class, Audi S6 Avant, Porsche Boxster, BMW M6 Convertible, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Range Rover, Land Rover Freelander, Hyundai Coupé 2.0, and Nissan 350Z.
