The ContiTech Power Transmission Group has redesigned and upgraded its online Product Information Centre (PIC) making it even more comprehensive and intuitive.

The new PIC is now available in 16 languages for both computers and mobile devices and thanks to a completely new design it offers an even clearer and more understandable structure.

Romanian, Dutch, Croatian, Swedish, Finnish, Greek and Czech language versions are now available for this useful tool, which is embedded in the ContiTech website and linked to the online catalogue. All the new product groups, including torsional vibration dampers, overrunning alternator pulleys, d mounting sets, multi-V belt kits, have been incorporated in the PIC. Profile images of the belts contained are now also included in the parts lists of all the kits.

“In the new PIC we have focused very much on article-specific information,” says Jens Heitkemper from ContiTech Technical Service. “General information has been moved very much into the background. Our intention in this is to guarantee that all the key details are significantly easier to find.”

The PIC can still be accessed at www.contitech.de/aam, with the navigation bar on the ContiTech website containing a button that leads to the PIC. The Product Information Centre can also be accessed directly via www.contitech.de/pic. All the QR codes and links referring to the PIC from brochures, flyers and product packaging, also link directly. The centre can also now be accessed straight from VDO Autodiagnos, the multifunctional diagnostic system formerly known as ContiSys.

The new format includes more fitting instructions under the name of Technical Instructions. The ContiTech PIC now offers a total of 132 Technical Instructions, with another 70 due to be added shortly.
