Brake supplier Brembo has received the Fiat-Chrysler Sustainability Supplier of the Year Award.

In 2009 the Italian car giant launched specific certification procedures for its supply chain in Europe with an emphasis on sustainability efforts. Brembo has since worked to meet and exceed these certification requirements and earned this important recognition following an audit conducted by a third party agency named by Fiat-Chrysler.

Brembo demonstrated significant commitment in terms of sustainability issues, having adopted a Code of Ethics for some time which is also followed by their suppliers, and a specific Code on Basic Working Conditions which extends to all the companies in the Group, as well as creating a structure focused on defining company strategies relative to sustainability issues and the subsequent translation into actions and projects.
