BMW offering savings on '09 cars

BMW Group Ireland has launched the Sterling Collection, a new sales channel which will see 09 cars being imported by BMW Ireland from BMW UK. Significant price reductions generated from the beneficial exchange rate will help decrease the end purchase price for Irish customers. The cars will be sold through the network of 16 BMW & 12 MINI dealerships, and will offer the Irish consumer unprecedented savings on the best selling models from the full BMW & MINI ranges.

The cars available through the BMW & MINI Sterling Collection are new cars, which have been registered in 2009 by BMW in the UK. The purchase process for the customer is similar to buying a new car; the dealer will look after delivery and all necessary VAT & VRT paperwork associated with importing a car from the UK.

When purchasing a BMW or MINI from the Sterling Collection, the customer enjoys the same range of benefits in terms of trade-in, two-year warranty cover and three years emergency breakdown service cover, as they would when purchasing any new BMW or MINI.

By introducing these new sales channels rather than reducing the prices of the indigenous Irish cars, BMW Group Ireland wish to support the residual values of customer and dealer cars going forward. Sterling Collection cars will be priced by individual dealers and will be subject to currency fluctuations.
