Bluebell Motor Company, Main PEUGEOT Dealer, Dublin 12, has been awarded the top title, Aftersales Dealer of the Year 2018


This is a new annual award bestowed upon a PEUGEOT Dealer, in recognition of combined Service and Parts performance excellence.

The presentation was made to Ian Douglas, Service Manager and Cormac Malone, Parts Manager at the annual PEUGEOT Aftersales Conference, held at the Radisson Blu Hotel Athlone and attended by 70 Parts and Service Managers from around the country.

Sean Kearns, Head of Aftersales at Gowan Distributors Limited, PEUGEOT Importers in Ireland, said: “Bluebell Motor Company has delivered an unparalleled Aftersales performance in 2018, recording strong Parts sales growth, high customer retention rates and exemplary customer satisfaction scores. Indeed, Ian Douglas came first place overall in our PEUGEOT Aftersales Challenge 2018, with Cormac Malone in third place. I wish to congratulate the team at Bluebell Motor Company wholeheartedly on their deserved win.”

Ian Douglas, from Tallaght, has over 35 years’ experience in the motor trade and has been heading the PEUGEOT Service Department at Bluebell Motor Company for 15 years. Ian is a past-pupil of DIT Bolton Street and an Elected Member of the MIMI Institute of Technology since 1997. A keen footballer and golf fanatic, he is married with two children.

Cormac Malone, from Celbridge, has over 38 years’ experience in the motor industry and has been Parts Manager at Bluebell Motor Company for 4 years. Cormac studied at the College of Commerce Rathmines and Portobello College, where he completed a FETAC QQC level 6 Diploma in Management, Marketing and related support services and a Facilitator and Trainer Diploma in Manual Handling. An eager motorsports fan, Cormac is married with three children.
