Automechanika Birmingham, the UKs largest automotive trade event, continues to grow and has recently announced that it will be 70% bigger with over 800 exhibitors in 2017.


The show which takes place at the NEC form June 6th to 8th, last year attracted huge numbers of visitors from the Irish automotive aftermarket, with even more expected to make the trip this summer.

The organisers say that in terms of exhibitors, all the major players are returning and many new companies will be making their debut at the show which now covers 5 giant halls.

Exhibitors returning after their success in 2016 include; Schaeffler, ZF Aftermarket,  Valeo Service, Delphi, Denso,  NGK Spark Plugs, Draper Tools, HELLA, MAHLE Aftermarket, TEXA, OSRAM, Mann + Hummel, bilstein group, Yokohama Tyres and many more. Attending the show for the first time will be companies such as;  Bosch, LIQUI MOLY, GS Yuasa, DeVilbiss Automotive Refinishing, JX Nippon, Hofmann Megaplan, Milwaukee Tools, Crypton and Comline Autoparts.

Access to the NEC is simple for Irish visitors with the event being held directly adjacent to Birmingham Airport.
