When is a Ferrari not a Ferrari? It seems the answer is when it’s stretched to accommodate eight people. Dan Cawley has taken a 2000 Ferrari 360, cut it in half, added a few extra metres, extra seats and huge gullwing doors and welded the whole thing back together. He now rents the car out as the world’s only Ferrari Limo.
However, Ferrari is not amused by the customisation of its design and has requested that Cawley removes all Ferrari and 360 Modena badges from the car. Ferrari argues that it is no longer an actual Ferrari and to claim otherwise is infringing copyright laws. Cawley is undeterred and now plans to do a similar job on a Lamborghini.
