Most recovery operators take great pride in their vehicles and some will go to serious lengths to get good photographs of them. Getting the perfect shot of a truck requires great care and attention to detail, as professional automotive photographer Tom Cunningham describes in his recent website blog about a photo shot of a very impressive Scania truck operated by Crouch recovery in the UK.
First of all Tom had to scour the area for the right location and was fortunate enough to be allowed to use an airfield runway. He is also a firm believer that to get the perfect shot you have to photograph at the time of day when the light is at its optimum and that means a short window of opportunity at either dawn or dusk. In this instance the photo was taken sixteen minutes before total sunset to come up with this impressive result.
