NGK is supporting an initiative to help motorcyclists source the best training and stay safe on the roads. The company, whose spark plugs are the world’s number one original equipment fitment, is backing the Elite Ride Hub, designed to help bikers choose the most suitable training based on affordability, availability, and accessibility.

The hub brings together the best of the best in the industry all in one place, so enthusiasts don’t have to waste time searching the web. It gives an insight into how they can take the training which will make them safe, capable and progressive riders.

There is a training package available to suit individual needs regardless of the size of the machine they ride and whether they be geared, automatic, electric or petrol.

Mark Hallam, Marketing Manager, NGK Spark Plugs said, “We are proud to support this training initiative to help improve the standard of motorcycle riding. Our components are fitted to most of the bikes that are ridden daily on the road and rider safety is paramount to us.”

The Elite Rider Programme has been created by the Motor Cycle Industry Association (MCIA), road safety and training experts, government departments and respected associated organisations. The aims of the initiative are to increase the number of riders undertaking post-test rider training, and to motivate riders to ride considerately toward other road users and the environment.

If you have a full licence and are looking to improve your riding skills go to www.eliteriderhub.co.uk/resources

Topics covered currently (with more to be added) are: cornering, overtaking and filtering which have videos asking the viewer if the position and actions taken are ‘right or wrong’ to create discussion and interest in what is actually correct.
