Now available from Laser Tool stockist is a brake caliper piston spreader which makes light work of the sometimes awkward job of pressing back the caliper pistons when fitting new brake pads.

Using the piston spreader (Part No. 6743), means the steel pads stay parallel so technicians can easily press back single piston, dual piston or four piston brake callipers. It also means the pistons don't bind since they're being kept parallel and pushed straight back into the caliper bore. There is also no effort needed to move them back as the fitter can just place the tool in the caliper and ratchet the pistons out of the way.

The ratchet handle is capable of moving through a full 360º, even when access is difficult. This time saving tool is now available from Laser Tool stockists.
