Mannol oil approved by VW

The popular Mannol brand of oil, which is distributed in Ireland by Carcessories, has announced that its Mannol Energy Combi LL SAE SW-30 (Product-Code OS 246239) has been approved by Volkswagen.


The car manufacturer has confirmed that after testing the advanced lubricant was shown to meet their requirements in accordance with VW standard 504 00 and VW standard 507 00. This means that the Mannol engine oil is therefore suitable for use in VW vehicles with Longlife Service, covering petrol and diesel engines and including diesel engines with particulate filters.

Mannol Energy Combi LL SAE SW-30 containers will in the future carry labelling that sates that the oil is approved under VW Standard 504 00 and VW Standard 507 00. This approval is valid for three years.

Mannol also offers a wide range of other lubricants designed to meet vehicle specifications. These are available from motor factors across Ireland.
