Aftermarket specialists J&S Automotive Distributors will now stock Exide batteries. The deal will be seen as a major win for the Dublin-based distributor, as they add another top-tier OE supplier to their roster.

Exide recently scooped The Institute of Transport Management’s Best Automotive Battery Range 2011 award, leading to an onslaught of media attention for the “parts of matching quality” manufacturer. The battery giant is an OE supplier to BMW, Ford, Volkswagen, Toyota and a slew of other brands.

The deal sees J&S Automotive stock Exide’s range of batteries for light and commercial vehicles, including their acclaimed stop-start products.

Exide’s car battery range comes with three products tiered by quality and price, letting consumers choose a suitable product for their needs and budget. “Exide Premium gives the best value to consumers and the highest margin to resellers”, explained Exide sales and marketing director Andrew Bevington. “We’re proud of our partnership.
