First Line has added a sought-after Ford heater control valve assembly to its range.

The commonly used part is fitted to many Ford vehicles, including the Ka, Fiesta and Transit. It is said to be prone to failure, leaving the driver with no ability to regulate the heating system. Generally the reasons for the failure can be attributed to corrosion to its internal components or contamination within the cooling system.

First Line says its replacement heater control valve is the simplest solution to the problem as all it requires of the technician is to replace the entire assembly with the new valve, designated FHV100. However, First Line recommends that the engine coolant is flushed and replaced and that the other cooling system components are checked before its installation.
Applications for FHV100 include:

- Ford Ka 1996-2008
- StreetKa and SportKa 2003-2005
- Fiesta IV 1995-2002
- Puma 1997-2002
- Courier 1996-2002,
- Transit IV 1995-2000
- Transit V 2000-2006
- Mazda 121 1997-2003.
