So far this year the First Line Group has already introduced 251 new-to-range additions to its Borg & Beck braking programme meaning it now has more than 4,000 live part numbers, which makes it one of the most comprehensive in the aftermarket.

Among the new to range additions are part numbers for many popular applications, which First Line believe are not readily available from other aftermarket braking suppliers. These include;

Front brake pads for the;
- Opel Adam 10/12 > (BBP2388)
- Renault Clio IV 11/12 > (BBP2407)
- Ford Transit Custom 2.2TD 12/12 > (BBP2414)

Rear brake pads for the VW Golf VII 11/12 > (BBP2402);

Front brake discs for the;
- Opel Mokka 06/12 > (BBD5314)
- Ford B-Max 10/12 > (BBD5316)

Rear brake discs for the;
-  Fiat 500L 09/12 > (BBD5312)
- Hyundai i30 11/11 > (BBD5327).

The overall dry braking programme now comprises 1,325 brake pads, 307 brake shoes, 1,422 brake discs, 175 brake drums, 115 wear leads, 449 brake pad fitting kits, 193 brake shoe fitting kits and 98 pre-mounted brake shoe fitting kits.

There is also a market leading range of cables, which encompasses brake cables. In-house expertise in this filed has allowed First Line to solve one of the aftermarket’s most complicated riddles that of the brake cables for Ford’s MkV and VI Transits. The company has issued a product bulletin that clarifies the correct front, intermediate and rear cables fitted to all variations of these popular vans. The document details how the cables can vary depending on the vehicle’s wheelbase, the month it was manufactured, if it has single or twin rear wheels or if it is fitted with rear discs or drum brakes. There are a total of 38 different part numbers used on Mk.V & Mk.VI Transit models, so the correct identification of these parts is critical for product selection.
